We started the morning out with breakfast at IHOP, both Brevin and Grandpa LOVE eating there.

It was a gorgeous day, so we decided to hike up Mount Peak. Being the first time on this hike we didn't realize how steep it was, so we had to take a few breaks. Keith and the older kids would get ahead of us and then wait for us to catch up. After waterbreaks we continued on our quest to reach the top.

Brooklyn was a trooper as she did a lot of the hike by herself. Little legs made for a lot of steps.

Keith, Brevin and Brynn on top of Pinnacle Peak. After this long winter it was great to get outdoors and enjoy nature.
There was a mountain biker that was at the top with us and showed us an incredible side trail with this outlook on Mt Rainier and this cute little rock/bench to sit and rest on.

I must say the Northwest is the prettiest place....when it's sunny.

The kids ready to go up again.

Brooklyn was only carried about 200 feet the whole way up. Although the descent is another story, as she kept falling down...Brynn was even falling down.
I gave Brooks over to dad and ran up part of a switchback with Brev. The girls didn't like the fact that mom ran ahead.

The opponent called Mt. Peak that was defeated by the Dorsey's and Grandpa!
