Our Snowy Winter

To say we have enjoyed the snow is an understatement. It is amazing how much snow we actually got this year. One measurement in the front was 13 inches. I thought I lived in Seattle, but was questioning it for a few weeks there. I have lived here my whole life and do not recall ever getting this much snow.

Not to mention that snow has been falling on a daily basis here. Granted it has stopped sticking and rain has melted it away, but WOW what fun for the kids.

The kids LOVE playing in it.

Brev would spend all day out there if he could, with his occasional hot chocolate breaks.

We also loved having friends come over and go down our hill.
When church was cancelled on Sunday, we had a couple of families who weren't afraid to drive in this weather over. We had a great time outside. We have a perfect hill to go down and it is so nice, as I can watch from inside.
Kaya and her family came over to join in our fun. These girls seriously crack me up when they are together. They LOVE each other and enjoy playing together so much. They were outside together for quite a while...considering that it was so stinkin' cold.

Brooks started helping dad shovel the sidewalk off so the house wouldn't get so dirty/wet inside.
