We celebrated Brooklyn's 1st Birthday and Darien's 1st celebrated (13th) Birthday on September 15, 2007. Since it was both of their 1st birthdays to celebrate, we had to start their birthdays off with bear cakes.
Darien and Brooklyn are getting ready to their cakes. Too bad Brooklyn has no clue of what is coming.
Brooks was not real sure what to do with what was put in front of her.
It did take a little bit before she realized that it was something that she could eat. Then this big thing on her highchair became kind of fun.
It was quite a big mess to clean up, but I think every kid needs their big cake that will barely get touched and hardly eaten. We did it when we were little.
I have to say that it did take two baths to get all of the mess off of her, but we did manage to get her clean.
