We got a great harvest from it. We had veggies coming out our ears at one point. The kids really enjoyed watching the seeds grow and produce veggies for them to eat.
SherRae's kids were over and so all of the kids decided to pick a bunch of veggies, as they were ready to be picked.
We had a tomato plant that produced some interesting tomatoes though. The kids came in saying "Look it is a snowman tomatoe". SherRae and I got a good laugh about it, but then we realized we had a few tomatoes that were 'snowman heads'. We had a ton of tomatoes and so I ventured out and made some homemade salsa...thanks to Maria Bybee's recipe.
