Potty Training for the last time.

As you might know, Brooklyn is potty-training/potty-trained. She decided at the beginning of September (during one of Keith's softball tournaments) that she wanted to go potty on the potty. That Saturday at a nasty softball field bathroom, she went potty ALL day long and kept her pants dry. I didn't really want to potty train this early, #1 because she was not even 2 AND #2 she was my last, so I was in no real rush.

Fast forward to 2 weeks later...Brooks comes up to me and says she wants a diaper to go poo-poo. Absolutely not!!! Then and from then on, she has been wearing big girl panties. It has not really been that easy, but if this girl can keep her pants dry all day long, she is not going to get a diaper to go poo and be lazy.

We are now a month out....she stays dry during the day. She obviously has the occasional accident, but now tells me when she needs to go potty. The whole pooping thing, well lets just say we are working on that one. She is getting better though.

Lets just say that potty training is the WORST part of parenting. I am so glad that I am almost done in that area FOREVER!!!
Gotta love the little panty phase. Brooks was on the potty and I had to run into the kitchen. She shortly came out of the bathroom with this. Gotta love the underwear inside-out.
